4. Identification of diagnostic and prognostic markers in Oral squamous cell carcinoma and oral potentially malignant disorders. Development of low cost and rapid diagnostic kits for Oral squamous cell carcinoma and oral potentially malignant disorders. The molecular techniques used here are, exome sequencing, transcriptome sequencing, PCR, IHC and ELISA.

5. Repurposing of various drugs as adjunctive to Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy in Oral Squamous cell carcinoma. The preliminary work is on Oral cancer and normal oral epithelial cell lines.

6. Identifying various protein markers which can be used as diagnostic markers in low cost settings like places of mass screening, primary health centres etc. The technique used are two dimensional gel electrophoresis, IHC and ELISA.

7. Identification of secretory markers in Oral cancer and potential markers using Raman Spectroscopy (work is in very early phase).

8. Identification of diagnostic and prognostic markers in Oral Cancer and Oral Potentially Malignant Disorder using Spatial transcriptomics study (Applied for funding).
