The Department of physiology was started in the year 1988. Started blackboard teaching; now we have advanced lecture LCD teaching. Throughout we have maintained a high standard which is reflected in the pass percentage which has now reached 98%.

The department has an excellent infrastructure and experienced faculty to aid teaching and research activities. Physiology is taught to a wide range of UG & PG students. The faculties use various teaching methodologies which are of immense benefit to the students. The faculties are also successfully involved in diverse research projects and have published many papers in well-reputed Scopus-indexed and Thomson Reuters journals.

The undergraduates are trained in hematology and clinical physiology practicals.
