The Student Mentorship Committee functions under the guidance of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital to ensure continuous academic support and personal development for students. The mentorship system is designed to strengthen the teaching–learning process by creating a structured platform where faculty mentors provide guidance, support, and monitoring of students’ academic progress. Each mentor is assigned a group of students and regularly interacts with them to discuss academic performance, professional development, and personal concerns.

Through periodic mentoring sessions, progress reviews, and documentation of mentoring activities, the committee helps identify learning difficulties at an early stage and provides appropriate guidance. This initiative supports IQAC’s objective of enhancing student engagement, improving academic outcomes, and promoting a supportive educational environment. The mentorship program also encourages communication between students, faculty, and administration, thereby contributing to the overall quality enhancement of the institution.

2024 Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting is being conducted every year, fostering transparent communication between faculty and parents. It is continuously facilitating discussions on students’ academic progress, clinical training, and overall welfare. With active participation from both parents and faculty, the meeting is helping to strengthen the support system and is playing an ongoing role in enhancing students’ academic and professional development.
