The Department of Public Health and Preventive Dentistry, has been part of the World Records Union-certified record attempt for the largest multi-location oral screening programme, covering an incredible 3,08,106 students across Tamil Nadu and Puducherry over 10 designated screening days.

This remarkable accomplishment is a reflection of the dedication, discipline, teamwork and commitment to public oral health demonstrated by every member of our institution.
