On 31 January 2025, Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital conducted a comprehensive dental health awareness and screening programme at Vivekananda Vidhyalaya Matric Hr. Sec. School. The outreach initiative was organized as part of the institution’s ongoing commitment to preventive dentistry and community oral health promotion.

A dedicated team of faculty members, interns, and students delivered interactive sessions highlighting the importance of maintaining proper oral hygiene, preventing dental caries, and adopting healthy dietary habits. Demonstrations on correct brushing techniques and the use of dental aids were conducted to encourage effective daily oral care practices among school students.

Free dental check-ups were carried out to identify early signs of dental issues, and appropriate guidance was provided to students and teachers for timely treatment. The programme successfully enhanced awareness about oral health, reinforced preventive care practices, and strengthened the college’s mission of extending quality dental education and community service beyond the campus.
