On 25 April 2025, Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital organized a public dental health awareness and screening camp at Tower Park, located in Anna Nagar. The outreach programme was conducted to promote preventive dentistry and improve oral health awareness among the general public.

A team of faculty members, postgraduate students, and interns carried out comprehensive dental check-ups to identify common oral conditions such as dental caries, gum diseases, and other oral health concerns. Participants were educated on proper brushing techniques, flossing methods, balanced nutrition, and the importance of regular dental visits. Awareness regarding tobacco cessation and early detection of oral diseases was also emphasized.

The camp witnessed active participation from residents and visitors, successfully spreading awareness about maintaining good oral hygiene. The initiative reinforced the institution’s dedication to community service, accessible dental care, and the promotion of preventive oral healthcare across Chennai.
