On 15 March 2025, Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital conducted a community dental health outreach programme in association with the Tambaram City Municipal Corporation at Chrompet. The initiative was organized to promote preventive dentistry, improve public oral health awareness, and provide accessible dental screening services to the local community.

A team of experienced faculty members, postgraduate students, and interns carried out comprehensive dental examinations to identify common oral conditions such as dental caries, periodontal diseases, and other oral health concerns. Participants were educated on proper brushing techniques, balanced nutrition, tobacco cessation, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Preventive advice and referrals for further treatment were provided where required.

The programme successfully strengthened community engagement and enhanced awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and preventive dental care. The event reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to social responsibility, public healthcare support, and delivering quality dental services beyond the campus.
