On 25 February 2025, Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital conducted an oral health awareness and dental screening programme at T.I.M.E Kids Preschool, Medavakkam. The initiative was organized as part of the institution’s ongoing commitment to preventive dentistry and early childhood oral health education.

The team of faculty members, interns, and students delivered engaging and child-friendly sessions focused on the importance of maintaining healthy teeth from an early age. Demonstrations on proper brushing techniques, the role of balanced nutrition, and the prevention of early childhood caries were conducted using interactive methods to ensure better understanding among young learners.

Basic dental screenings were carried out to identify any early signs of dental concerns, and guidance was provided to teachers and parents regarding appropriate oral care practices. The programme successfully fostered positive dental habits among children and reinforced the significance of early preventive dental care within the community.
