On 18 November 2025, Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital organized a dental health awareness and screening programme at JaiGopal Garodia Matriculation Higher Secondary School. The outreach initiative was conducted to promote preventive dentistry and enhance oral health awareness among school students.

A dedicated team of faculty members, postgraduate students, and interns carried out comprehensive dental examinations to identify common oral conditions such as dental caries, gum diseases, and malocclusion. Interactive awareness sessions were delivered to educate students on proper brushing techniques, flossing habits, healthy dietary practices, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. Demonstrations and engaging discussions encouraged active student participation.

Individual dental reports and appropriate referrals were provided for students requiring further evaluation or treatment. The programme successfully strengthened school-based oral health education and emphasized early diagnosis and prevention. The initiative reflected the institution’s continued commitment to community service and accessible dental healthcare across Chennai.
