On 5th and 6th November 2025, Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital conducted a two-day dental health awareness and screening programme at Church Park School. The outreach initiative was organized to promote preventive dentistry and improve oral health awareness among school students.

A dedicated team of faculty members, postgraduate students, and interns carried out comprehensive dental examinations to identify common oral conditions such as dental caries, gum diseases, and malocclusion. Interactive educational sessions were conducted to demonstrate proper brushing techniques, flossing methods, and the importance of balanced nutrition in maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Students were encouraged to adopt good oral hygiene practices and schedule regular dental check-ups.

Individual oral health reports and necessary referrals were provided for students requiring further treatment. The programme successfully enhanced awareness about early diagnosis and preventive dental care, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to community outreach and school-based oral health education in Chennai.
