On 21 March 2025, Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital organized a dental health outreach camp at Meenambakkam Airport in association with the Lions Clubs International. The programme was conducted to promote preventive oral healthcare and extend quality dental screening services to airport staff, workers, and the surrounding community.

A dedicated team of faculty members, postgraduate students, and interns carried out comprehensive dental examinations to detect common oral health conditions such as dental caries, gum diseases, and other dental concerns. Participants were provided with personalized oral hygiene instructions, dietary counseling, and awareness on the importance of regular dental check-ups. Necessary referrals for further treatment were also given where required.

The camp successfully enhanced awareness about preventive dentistry and encouraged early diagnosis and timely intervention. The initiative reflected the institution’s continued commitment to community engagement, social responsibility, and delivering accessible dental healthcare services beyond the campus.
