On 7 January 2025, Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital successfully conducted a community outreach and oral health awareness programme at Kendriya Vidyalaya School, Minambakkam, located in Minambakkam. The event aimed to promote preventive dental care and educate school students about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene.

A team of faculty members and students organized interactive sessions on proper brushing techniques, healthy dietary habits, and the prevention of common dental problems such as cavities and gum diseases. Live demonstrations and engaging activities encouraged active student participation. Basic dental screenings were also carried out to identify early signs of oral health issues, and appropriate guidance was provided to students and teachers.

The programme reinforced the institution’s commitment to community service and public health awareness. The initiative created a positive impact by instilling healthy oral care practices among young learners and strengthening school-based dental health education efforts.
