THRUST AREA OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department have the facilities for treating cases under Conscious sedation and General Anesthesia. Fully Digitalised radiography systems for better treatment planning. We are equipped with full trauma sets for emergency trauma care. We conduct programmes like PALS (Pediatric Advance Life Support-TACT), LASERS in pediatric dentistry. Students also attend national and international conferences and other CDE programmes in various colleges.

RESEARCH CENTERS AND ASSOCIATED RESEARCH ACTIVITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT

We have MOUs with Chiang Mai university, Thailand and University of Malaya, Malaysia offering student exchange programs. We also have an Collaboration with IIT MADRAS, to assist and aid in research activities. Our department has a collaboration with department of orthodontics who have a research center for cleft lip and cleft palate (SMILE TRAIN).
