Cold-Sensing by the Heat Shock Proteins

A guest lecture on “Cold-Sensing by the Heat Shock Proteins” was organized on 22^nd October 2022. The session was delivered by Dr. Akhouri Kishore Raghawan, Postdoctoral Fellow in the Division of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. The lecture explored the molecular mechanisms of how heat shock proteins contribute to cold-sensing and cellular adaptation under stress conditions. Participants gained valuable insights into the physiological significance of stress proteins and their role in biomedical research. The event was organized by Dr. Sumathi Jones, Head of the Department of Pharmacology.
