  • III & IV BDS students undergo a problem - based approach of coaching.
  • CRI - students take up either a clinical or a field based survey.

PG Curriculum


1. DCI Requirements


The syllabus for and postgraduate students is strictly followed according to the DCI protocol. Lessons/ Classes would be planned and staffs are allocated with their turns on specific days. Notes and useful study materials would be given to students on a regular basis. Mock tests are held to prepare them for final exams. Special care and attention would be given for slow learners. They would be identified and given additional hours of coaching. Records and workbooks of all students are assessed and monitored routinely. Seminars and Journal club discussions are organised on turn basis for the Post graduates.


2. Added Curriculum


  • Group discussion exclusively on a topic of interest are done with senior faculties
  • Every week PGs are evaluated based on their performance in clinics and by periodical assessment test. Badges are given to motivate them
  • Pedagogy sessions are organised to test the real understanding power of the post graduates.
  • Every PG student works on a Systematic review and meta analysis

INTER DEPARTMENTAL DISCUSSIONS


There are routine Clinical Society Meetings and Inter Departmental Discussion held frequently to enhance and explore the Inter Disciplinary treatment approaches.


SCIENTIFIC PAPER PRESENTATIONS


Students actively participate in paper presentations and also attend hand -on courses held in conferences


Complete care for the care providers


Post graduates are teamed up for each senior faculty, who mentor them in all aspects.
