Lecture on Bioentrepreneurship by Dr. D Sudhakaran - PhD, General Manager, Golden Jubilee Biotech Park for Women Society was designed to introduce students, researchers, and professionals to the dynamic ecosystem that supports innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization in life sciences.
The session highlighted how bioincubation centres offer vital support spanning infrastructure, funding, mentorship, regulatory guidance, and industry networking followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaborative innovation and research initiatives.

The MoU enables collaborative research, advanced training, innovation, and translational biotechnology integration between SBDCH and the MS Swaminathan Bio-Incubation Centre (Supported by BIRAC), Unit of Golden Jubilee Biotech Park for Women.

The objective to visit TICEL Bio Park for an Intellectual Property visit was to explore its role as a biotechnology and life sciences hub that fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization of research. The visit focused on understanding how the park supports IPR-driven activities, such as patenting new biotechnologies, protecting intellectual property for its resident companies and startups, and facilitating the translation of research into market-ready products.
