Current & Future Perspectives of Research in Oral Medicine

The International Virtual Conference on Current & Future Perspectives of Research in Oral Medicine was successfully held on December 9^th & 10^th, 2021, organized by the Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology.

The conference was spearheaded by Chief Patron Dr. J. Srinisha, with Dr. S. Bhuminathan serving as the Convenor, Dr. S. Raghavendra Jayesh as the Co-Convenor, and Dr. Nalini Aswath as the Organizing Chairman.

Renowned experts from across the globe delivered insightful sessions on emerging trends and advancements in Oral Medicine and Radiology. The distinguished speakers included:

• Dr. Sanjay M. Mallya (UCLA School of Dentistry, USA) – An authority in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, editor of White and Pharoah’s Oral Radiology, and a key figure in interdisciplinary dental research.

• Dr. Rajaram Gopalakrishnan (University of Minnesota, USA) – A leading Oral & Maxillofacial Pathologist, specializing in head and neck cancer research and bone remodeling.

• Dr. Manas Dave (University of Manchester, UK) – A researcher with expertise in Pathology, Dental Public Health, and Medical Education, with extensive contributions to major dental journals.

• Dr. Kaustubh Sansare (Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai, India) – A specialist in Advanced Imaging Modalities such as MSCT, MRI, and CBCT, with notable research in Evidence-Based Dentistry.
