Best Practice

MoU with Saveetha University, SIMATS

Teaching and learning ago hand in hand that are extremely important in the process of education. Various teaching strategies are used to make students learn.

MCQ and work sheets

We encourage students to find answers on their own by giving MCQ and work sheets.

Multiple choice questions (or MCQs), are a type of interrogation, that provide a means of evaluating the knowledge of the students through an examination or test. Generally, an MCQ consists of a problem, known as a stem, which is then followed by a series of alternative answers. Students generally choose one of these answers in relation to the problem or question posed. Every year we assess the student’s knowledge level towards the subject through this method.

Mind mapping

Mind mapping is a spider diagram used to generate, visualize and organize. It is an effective tool for students and educators seeking to maximize the learning experience. For teachers and students, mind maps play an important role in education. Mind maps provide a much more effective approach toward the subjects. So we make the students to work on this method for accomplishing the information on the subject.

Project Based learning (PBL):

The project based learning provides an educational environment for the students and creates meaningful circumstances to apply both academic and success skills. The students where occupied by giving projects that is focused on undergraduate learning goals, and skills such as problem solving, collaboration, and self-management. Students make some decisions about the project, including how they work and what they create. They make their project work public by explaining, displaying and/or presenting it to people in the classroom and discussion with the staffs on the concerned topics. PBL provides opportunities

VAK/ VARK Technique:

The VARK model of learning styles suggests that there are four main types of learners: visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic. Students learn best when teaching methods and school activities match their learning styles.
