1. ANNUAL POST EXAMINATIONATION AND PRESENTATION BY OUTGOING PG's

Every year, graduating postgraduates showcase their most notable treated cases in an exhibition. Distinguished faculty members and postgraduates from different dental specialties attend this event. The primary objective of this exhibition is to inspire and motivate postgraduates to strive for excellence in the field of Orthodontics.

2. GROOMING LEADERSHIP AND TEAM WORK -VERTICAL SLOTS

In order to foster productivity and foster a harmonious environment between senior and junior students, we have implemented the vertical slot system. This system involves the formation of teams comprising three postgraduates, each representing a different year. These teams are designed to promote collaborative efforts among students at various stages of their academic journey, enabling them to collectively acquire the necessary skills for academic success.

3. STAR ORTHODONTIST - APRON WINNERS

Each year, a postgraduate is honoured with the prestigious STAR ORTHODONTIST APRON award. The recipient is chosen based on their exceptional clinical acumen and proficiency in practice management. This accolade holds great significance among the postgraduates, serving as a valuable source of inspiration and motivation for their future endeavours in the field.

4. UG - PG TEAM WORK

At the Department of Orthodontics, SreeBalaji Dental College and Hospital, we actively encourage interaction between our undergraduate and postgraduate students within the clinical setting. This deliberate practice aims to provide exceptional clinical exposure to the undergraduates, while fostering a mutually beneficial learning environment for all students involved. By engaging in this collaborative approach, students are able to enhance their individual practitioner skills and develop valuable teamwork abilities, thus contributing to their overall growth and development.

5. OUTREACH PROGRAM : SMILE TORCH

The initiative, spearheaded by the International Orthodontic Society (IOS), aimed to raise public awareness regarding the significance of orthodontic procedures. We had the distinct honor of receiving the esteemed "Smile Torch" on behalf of our state. On August 21st, the "Smile Torch" made its arrival at our college, evoking a profound sense of delight and pride as we extended a warm welcome to this symbol of recognition and advocacy.

6. WE ARE FAMILY

Engaging in shared celebrations such as festivals and birthday parties, traveling together for conferences, and attending students' weddings nurtures a deep bond between us, the faculty, and the students. These collective experiences foster a strong sense of camaraderie and connection, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment within our academic community.
