For the first time in the program’s storied history, 18 eminent examiners from international shores, representing the United Kingdom and Malaysia, had converged in India to lend their esteemed expertise. This marked a seminal moment in the program’s global expansion.

A select cohort of 46 candidates from diverse corners of the world—ranging from China, Oman and Egypt to Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom— underwent rigorous evaluations. This reflected the program’s growing international allure and its capacity to attract the finest talent.

This program offered a rare and coveted pathway for successful candidates to attain Membership of the MOrth RCPS, thereby gaining eligibility to graduate from the prestigious University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom—an honor that undoubtedly bolstered their global professional standing.

Held at the renowned Rela Institute and Medical Centre, the program was conducted in strict adherence to the exacting standards of examination that mirrored those upheld in the United Kingdom. Notably, RIMC stood as the sole examination centre outside the UK, further amplifying the program’s global prestige.

The examination was held from Dec 2–4, 2024, with 46 candidates appearing. The examiner panel included eminent British, Irish and Malaysian examiners namely, Dr Jadbinder Singh Seehra, Dr Fiona Ryan, Dr Natasha Wright, Dr Nadine Houghton, Dr Amelia Sophie Anne Jerrat, Dr Badri Thiruvenkatachari, Dr Harmeet Kaur Dhaliwal, Dr Siri Adibah Binti, Dr Saraswati Devi, Dr Rema Prabhakaran, Dr Yasmin Kamarudin, Dr Noraina Norman, Dr Norhidayah Tahir, Dr Saritha Sivarajan and Dr Evelyn Lee and examination managers from RCPSG, Ms Esther Malcolm and Mr George Milne.
