DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL MEDICINE

The 3rd BDS students are trained in the field of General Medicine. Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital has an exclusive department of General Medicine in the Dental Hospital Building. This General Medicine dept. caters the Medicinal needs of Patients coming for Dental treatments and supportive care for all clinical departments. Students are trained and exposed to various Medicinal conditions here at a basic level. Students take advanced Gen. Medicine training at Sree Balaji Medical College Hospitals, wher they have excellent exposures to various Medical conditions and treatment modalities.

The department of general medicine also conducts several camps at surrounding areas every month. The department of general medicine also takes care of the ICU at an affordable price without compromising on quality for the benefit of the patients. The diabetology clinic is giving free service to the patients as well as giving free diabetic medicines since June 2011.

RESEARCH LAB

The area of the research lab. is 50 Sq.m meant for research purposes. It is well equipped with all necessary instruments such as Rota rod apparatus, Actophotometer, Pole climbing apparatus, Plethymography, UV spectrophotometer, Eddy’s hot plate, Analgesiometer, Calorimeter, Centrifuge and plus maze apparatus
