Workshop on Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry

The Central Research Laboratory, Department of Research, Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER), successfully conducted a Three-Day Hands-on Workshop on Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry from 23^rd to 25^rd July 2025 at No.12, Vembuliamman Koil Street, West K.K. Nagar, Chennai – 600 078.

The workshop was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Thiru. A.N. Radhakrishnan (M.A., D.Com) and Mrs. R. Gomathi, with Mrs. Jayanthi Radhakrishnan, MBA., serving as the Chief Patron. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Akash Prabhakar (BS.Engg, MBA.), Pro Chancellor; Prof. Dr. C. Sridhar, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Dr. C. Krithika, Pro Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Dr. V. Sureka, Registrar; and Prof. Dr. N. Arunagirinathan, Dean of Research.

The workshop was organized under the guidance of Dr. D. Nalini, Organizing Secretary, and featured dedicated hands-on sessions in Immunofluorescence on Day 1, followed by advanced training in Immunohistochemistry on Day 2 and Day 3. Participants gained in-depth practical knowledge and exposure to modern laboratory techniques, making it a highly interactive and impactful learning experience.

SRM Biochem Elite 2025

The 13^th State-Level I BDS Prize Examination in Biochemistry was held on 12 July 2025 at *SRM Dental College, Ramapuram. The event brought together I BDS students from across Tamil Nadu to compete in an objective-type Biochemistry exam covering core topics such as carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and biological oxidation.

Our students participated and won prizes, reflecting their strong academic performance and dedication.

Winners received book prizes and certificates, with encouragement awards for toppers from each college.
