ANTI-RAGGING COMMITTEE

Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital (SBDCH), BIHER is firmly committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and ragging-free campus environment for all students. The Anti-Ragging Committee works proactively to ensure that every student feels secure, valued, and supported throughout their academic journey.

Ragging in any form—physical, verbal, emotional, or psychological—is strictly prohibited at SBDCH. The institution follows the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Dental Council of India (DCI), and Supreme Court of India to ensure a zero-tolerance approach towards ragging. Our campus is monitored continuously to promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and mutual understanding.

Students are encouraged to report any incident of ragging without fear. The Committee takes immediate action on all complaints to ensure safety and restore harmony on campus. Awareness programmes, counselling sessions, orientation modules, and anti-ragging campaigns are regularly conducted to educate students about their rights and responsibilities.
