IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS to the candidates allotted through centralized counselling by MCC of DGHS, New Delhi for admission to BDS Course (2024-25)




Candidates who have been allotted through centralized counselling by the MCC of DGHS, New Delhi for admission to BDS Degree course in Sree Balaji Dental College and Hospital for the academic year 2024-25, are advised to report and complete the admission process within the date and time specified in the ‘Allotment Letter’ issued by the DGHS.

Instructions for Reporting

  • The candidates should report along with original certificates and Proof for payment of Tuition and other fees preferably by Electronic Fund Transfer through RTGS/NEFT.
  • Demand Draft will also be accepted. Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “Sree Balaji Dental College and Hospital” payable at Chennai. ( Cheques / Cash will not be accepted )
  • Note


    i) Candidates without original certificates / documents shall not be allowed to take admission in the allotted College.


    ii) Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute / College / University and come for admission with a certificate stating, “their original certificates are deposited with the Institute / College / University” shall not be allowed to take admission.


    iii) Allotment letter given by MCC-DGHS for admission is subject to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria prescribed by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and medical fitness of the candidates. Those who do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria and not found medically fit will not be admitted to the course of study to which they are allotted by the MCC-DGHS.


    The certificates / documents to be submitted in Original along with 2 sets of photocopies of the same are


    1. Allotment letter issued by the MCC of DGHS, New Delhi


    2. NEET (UG) – 2024 Admit Card issued by NTA.


    3. NEET (UG) - 2024 Result/Rank letter issued by NTA.


    4. Class 10 / S.S.L.C. (10th) / or Equivalent examination mark sheet


    5. HSC (+2) & +1 / equivalent examination mark sheet


    6. Transfer Certificate


    7. Birth Certificate


    8. Community Certificate (if applicable)


    9. Conduct Certificate


    10. Medical Fitness Certificate


    11. If there is a change in name in 10th /12th mark sheet, the original Gazette notification for the change of name and a copy must be produced


    12. Six Passport size & Two Stamp size colour photographs (same as in NEET admit card) and one Passport size photograph of the candidate’s Father and Mother and also of the local guardian, if applicable.


    13. Copy of Aadhar of Candidate, Father ,Mother, Guardian.


    14. Any one of the identification proofs (ID Proof as mentioned in the information Bulletin published by the National Testing Agency (NTA). i.e., Aadhar/Passport

    1. Allotment letter given by MCC-DGHS for admission is subject to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria prescribed by the UGC / DCI and medical fitness of the candidates. Those who do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria and not found medically fit will not be admitted to the course of study to which they are allotted by the MCC-DGHS.


    2. All the Documents mentioned from the S. No “1 to 14’’ should be submitted in original to the college at the time of physical Joining.


    3. In the event of any information given by the candidate being found false or incorrect at any stage, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled by the competent authority and no claim can be made on the seat allotted to him/her

FEE DEDUCTION & REFUND OF TUITION FEES PAID
Amount of Fee to be deducted from upgraded candidate by DGHS/MCC. Refund of Tuition Fees Paid by the candidate who got admission in different college on up gradation Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) In the event of candidate getting upgraded to a different college in the 2nd round, the fee collected shall be refunded after Deducting Rs. 20000/-to the candidate to a single account only. Hence, the candidate shall furnish the Bank Details as Called for in the Bio data form
In all cases not covered under condition in column above, the amount of fee payable (where the seat is rendered vacant without having any chance of being filled up with any other candidates) Entire fee paid by the candidate will be deducted. In addition, the candidates shall be required to remit the `entire course fee’ for the remaining three years of the course period. (Except those who produce upgradation letter issued by the DGHS)

Mode of Payment of Fees


a) Tuition and other fees, specified above may be paid either by Demand Draft drawn in favour of “ Sree Balaji Dental College & Hospital” payable at Chennai OR by Electronic Fund Transfer through RTGS (Cheques / Cash will not be accepted)


b) Bank Account particulars for Fund Transfer (TUITION FEE) : (RTGS payment receipt with UTR No. should be produced at the time of admission

The candidates are instructed to follow-up regularly the notices / Instructions issued by MCC of DGHS, Government of India, New Delhi (www.mcc.nic.in).


General Instructions


i) If a candidate fails to report on the date and time specified by MCC of DGHS in the allotment order along with the original Certificates/Documents and/or fails to pay the tuition fee by Demand Draft/Electronic Fund Transfer through RTGS with UTR No. on the day of admission, he/she will not be permitted to proceed with the admission process. The vacancy arising therefrom will be duly notified to the MCC ofDGHS.


ii) As per instructions of the MCC of DGHS, once a candidate joins a seat allotted in II- Round, he/she will not be eligible for exiting/resigning/withdrawing from the seat. Further, he/she will not be eligible for any other round of Counselling including State Counselling

iii) If any candidate withdraws or resigns from the course of study in which he/she has joined in II-Round counselling or subsequent Rounds and the seat is rendered vacant, the first year fee paid will be forfeited and the student will also be required to remit the ‘entire course fee’ for the remaining years of the course period


iv) Students will be governed by the University rules including rules for refund of fee, disciplinary rules, hostel rules and UGC/DCI Regulations for Curbing the Menace of Ragging.


v) At the time of admission, candidates should sign declaration/undertakings declaring that they shall abide by the rules and regulations of the University including Anti-Ragging Regulations of the UGC/DCI disciplinary rules for students and the University rules on payment of fees/refund of fees


Candidate should report only during the working hours of The Admission office (9 AM to 4 PM)
