On 1^st June 2025, Sree Balaji Dental College and Hospital conducted a unique Anti-Tobacco Awareness Program featuring a skit performance followed by effigy burning, symbolizing the rejection of tobacco and its harmful effects.

Dental students performed a powerful skit in the college courtyard, highlighting the health hazards of tobacco addiction, its impact on families, and the importance of quitting. The performance used emotion, drama, and real-life scenarios to connect with the audience and deliver a strong message.

Following the skit, effigies representing tobacco and its dangers were lit, symbolizing the collective stand against tobacco use. Faculty, students, and visitors gathered to witness the symbolic act, reinforcing their commitment to a tobacco-free lifestyle.The event drew positive engagement from students and staff, creating awareness through creative expression and symbolic action.
